A blast from the past two weeks

Hey everyone i know i havent posted in like well forever but it was only like before christmas well last week i got to ride three times count that three because i rode tuesday in my private lesson and then on sunday and monday we had our barn christmas party on sunday and had a big group lesson and then on monday we had another big group lesson and then i went to pigeon forge with my mom and aunt and we ate at my most favorite place olive garden but on the saturday before lessons i spent the whole day with my closest bff so close we are almost sisters josie or as some may know her the amazing indigo i spent the night with her and then we where of to our favorite place in the whole wide world you guessed it the barn then my mom came and got me and on monday i had to take extra clothes because that night we where going to pigeon forge but on monday i got an early chjristmas present and it was a red halter a RED RED RED HALTER for those of you that dont know all my grooming tools and i want my eventing colors to be red and black so the red halter was the perfect gift for me and i also got money for christmas and i am going to order a custom saddle pad with my name on it and you guessed it its going to be black with red trim and a red monogram hopefully so i am going to go because i dint know what else to say but what i might get to see josie because see my be coming over to see a movie and then she might spend the night so peace

hey everyone

Hey sorry i have not put a post up in like two weeks well today we were supposed to have a lesson today but it got rained out so ya i was looking forward to Friday because i was going to have a private lesson well i talked to my mom and she said that my lesson had been moved to tuesday and i was riding home with my instructor so i am very happy and then on Saturday we have a Christmas party and then our lesson so that is going to be a ton of fun and this week i we only have four days well four and half but i am not going that half a day on Friday so only four yay then its Christmas break so yay again that's all i have for now

Sundays lesson

HEY everyone i am sorry i have not posted in like forever ok so sundays lesson went great and you guess it i rode my new best buddy gus we did our normal warm up and that is walk ing and troting both ways and i rode with out sturrips a lot and then we did a jump box and that was basically it so i am so tired now and i will post more this weekend after lessons

Hey guys some good news and some bad

Hey everyone today i had my first private lesson this morning and i rode jefferson and we worked on collection and cantering well keeping him collected so that was kinda a challengebut we worked through that but otherwise the lesson went great and this weekend i will be rideing on sunday so yay about getting to ride twice this week and hopefully i will have another private lesson next tuesday after noon ohh and something else i did today is that after i got to may dads house we walk the connection to 160 and then around the bank and that was three miles and we did that in 15 minutes and 30 seconds so ya and now the bad news i am sad that sara the eventingbelle is not going to coutinue to blog anymore so i am kinda sad about that because i will miss he insight on things that are happening at the barn and when i am sad her posts always cheered me up along with the amazing indigo's posts so ya that is all for now i will post more on sunday HAPPY THANKSGIVING EVERYONE love you all

movies and lessons

[this is Josie form theamazingindigo.blogspot.com] Today Megan and I went to see the newly released second installment of the Twilight saga, New Moon. It was an amazing cliff hanger that has me us dying to see the third installment, Eclipse. I am spending the night tonight, so I can just get up and go to lessons in the morning and help, since it is prettyyy late. :) Anyways, I hope we end up doing Dressage or jumping again as to where Indy and I are the bomb. Im going to let Megan take over now! ok hey everyone like josie said New Moon was FAB U LOUS and tomorrow like she said is lessons and i hope we do jumping so now that it is late i am very tired because we got in line to go into the theather at six thirty and we where the second group in line and we got great seats in the first row of the stadium seating and in the dead center it was great and we could see everything and next week i will be going again with my step mom lee so happy about that and that is all i have to say because well it is late and i am tired and have to get up early for lessons so there will be another post tomorrow after noon so from Megan and Josie goodnight and goodbye

hey update time

OK updates tomorrow is Friday yay i am going to see new moon and Josie is coming over double yay and i have been thinking some about well everything i have the stress of school then dance after that because i just found out that we might be competing in march so stressing about getting the dance ready and just some other school drama but i wont go into that right now this post was to just clear my mind and you guessed it i am dying to ride like always i will post more about the movie and lessons on saturday love you guys

Bonfire and another post about Gus

Last night there was a bonfire at the barn and well i did not get to stay for all of it but it was a lot of fun sorry no pictures OK on to another subject and that is you guessed it Gus he is one of my favorites now i love him and yesterday i was so surprised that he didn't even glance at the jumps even tho they were small he is still learning and an update on the private lessons none this week i have to wait till the twenty-fourth and i will have them in the afternoon because of school yuck and i still have homework to do but i am avoiding it right now so i really don't have much to say that is unusual for me if you know me oh i am so happy because Josie (the amazing indigo ) is coming over this weekend and we are going to see new moon on Friday and i know this because i order the tickets online today so very happy that i see it on opening night and then the weekend after that i am going to see it again because my step mom Lee is going to take me again double yay

Weekly Lesson

HEY guys today we had weekly lesson and you guessed it i rode Gus and we warmed up by walking and trotting both directions and then the fun part came she brought her cavalleties and we walk and trotted them both ways then she raised them up and we started trotting over them and i was the horse that normally does no like to jump well i thought he would run out and look at them and not go over them well i was wrong he trotted over them like it was nothing and i am so pround of him so here are some pics and videos from today

this video is after warming up and doing some of the smaller jumps i am in the front still on gus so the jumps were only like 12 inches but that is good for gus

the video on the left is josie jumping the cavalletties on foot and she said that was a special video she made fo me and i have an update on the private lesson thing i dont get to start untill the 24 and then we just kinda have to play it by ear and see what days work so i will post more later tonight because i am going back i the barn fo a bonfire and hopefully i will get some more pictures tonight at the bonfire its gunna be a lot of fun because josie sara and brandi and i think everyone else will be there to ohh and here is one of my favorite pictures from lessons today

I am Dying to you guessed it RIDE

OKAY guys i am dying to ride and its Wednesday and tomorrow is the last day of school for me be for i get to ride so very happy about that next week should be my first week having private lessons !yay! to day very long because i had dance but the good news is that i think i am finally getting over this stupid sinus infection thats another !yay! tomorrow at school i wont really have a second class because i will be in first period for like 180 minutes well some of that is going to be in rthe gym watching Night of the patriots welll it would be day of the patriots so ya iam going to have to come home tomorrow and pack to go to my dads house but that wont be to hard well i cant wait to ride on saturday i want to know what we will be doing but i will just have to wait and be suprised so i guess that i am board or tires because i cant think of anything else to say so good night and goodbye

Gus

HEY guys this is a post all about Gus and how i have grown to love this horse he is still in the learning process and his mind i dont think has caught up with his age yet but that is onne thing i love about him is his young at heart and mind . He is a horse that when you first meet him its like you he leaves this lasting impression on you that is like i love this horseand now that i have stated riding him more consistantly i think that i will continue with that so i can build up to where he is able to jump anything with a rider on his back.He is so sweet and i dont thik i have ever meet a horse sweeter than he is. I love him to death he is a horse that needs a rider that has soft hands,seat, and legs, and i hwve found that a dressage whip helps just as a little reminder.Like i remember one time one of my instructors brush boxes was sitting in the stall door and gus put his hoof in it and i cracked so when i am around gus he makes me want to laugh i love riding him because i can bring some of the best things out of him and i hope that continues. i just love this horse to death and that is all i have to say for now.

Josie-i love her to death and i swear we are sisters she rides Mister Indigo and her riding level is off the chart so her personality she is someone that i want to have behind me and will stand up for what she knows is the truth what ever i have on my chest she will let me vent and she is a great listener and i dont want to lose her or any of my other friends i can trust her with my secrets i cant find enough special words to describe to josie JOY FULL

THIS WEEKS LESSON

I am so very happy the first reason is that i don't have school this Friday and that i have lessons next Saturday and that i will be stating private lessons along with the group lessons

today i rode Gus and we started in the arena and then we took the trail up to the top pasture and did a little cross country oh and i guess u are wonder how the new student did she did pretty well for her first lesson and Gus did very well today even with the jumping and they are smallbut he is still learning and we only trotted over them here is the vid eo. So i am very excited about next weeks lesson and priviate lessons soon !yay!

One Awsome day and another one to come

Today i went to River Glenn its a local equstrian park and they where holding there fall horse trials and i have got to say that it was AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING one day i hope to be at that high of a riding level one day ok enough about that tomorrow i have weekly lessons and i cant wait i want to jump so bad that its not even funny but i dont think that jumping will happen tomorrow because we are suposed to get a new student so that may ruin that idea i will find out tomorrow and i will let you know andd hopefully will be pictures yay love you guys its getting late and i am not feeling swell so i am going to log of so goodbye and goodnight

One rough week

OKay guys i am very sorry i have not posted in a while its just that we had a famoly problem this week and that has kinda has put a damper on my blogging mood and last week we did not have lessons last week which killed me and this week they arent till sunday and appearently from what Josie (the Amazing Indigo ) said that we are getting yet again get another student so not to happy about that so i get off that subject and on top of that i dont know what we are doing this weekend and i think i have a sinus infection so yuck and that wont make riding as much fun because i dont fell spectacular so not to much fun i will post more on sunday evening so

Okay now my least favorite lesson

This is going to be a tie because i don't like centered riding or the one were i was riding Millie and i was cantering and she turned into the center and i fell off of her well lets just say both i absolutly hate riding with out stirrups and reins and well i love millie just not her attitude so i dont know what else to say about this so so long fair well and good night

well i actually have another favorite lesson it is when Sara Josie and i went on the trail down to the lake and i got my baby Jefferson and we cantered and hand galloped some of the hills and that is when i learned to keep my heels down so i would not fall off well long story short i lost one of my stirrups at a had gallop up a hill and i did not fall off so that is ny other favorite lesson

Hey guys

First thing i want to say is that i am sorry that i have not posted in a while i just got home from a long night at dance and i just got to eat so i cant wait i only have two more days untill i can ride so happy still have so much to do in so little time like tomorrow i will be leaving to go

to my dads house well that and school in the morning i hate the Amazing

Indigo she is on fall break and she got to ride today i was txting her earlier and i was kinda mad but i am over that because saturday will be here very soon

so i still sont know what we will be doing and that is killing me because i want to know like so bad

i wish we would do jumping but i dont think that is going to happen but if it does i will be so

very excited and happy because then maybe i could ride Jefferson and get some much needed

time in the saddle with my favorite horse thats all for now i will post more later

You Belong With Me

OK well You Belong With Me is like one of my favorite songs every time i hear it i want to sing and when i am in the car i will sing out loud well that's how i feel about Jefferson and Gus that the rider doesn't pick the horse the horse will pick its rider an i feel that Gus and Jefferson have picked me as one of their riders i can trust that when i am one them that i know they will get me through the obstacles that are put in front of us when i ride them it feels as if i am flying and all my troubles just kinda fall right off of my body like when we are jumping it feels as if i am soaring over the the clouds and there is no pressure on my shoulders so when ever i here you Belong with me i just think about how riding Jefferson and Gus and how it is like we are alike and act like one when really i am the rider and they are the horses but when i ride it doesn't feel like that at all its more like having trust between the horse and rider the song for me represents passion and love so people may think of there boyfriends or girlfriends i think of that to but i mostly think of the horses i ride and the funny thing is that i it comes on at the barn we all start to sing so i think we all feel the same way This is me on the Amazing Indigo and i also think that we have a special bond that also belongs with me

i am having that that same feeling again

OK guys it only Monday and i am dieing to ride and lesson are still not for another five days

and i think we are going to do something that i absolutely hate and that is centered riding which means riding with out sturrips and reins so ya thats if one of the students shows up so if he doesnt that means no centered riding yay but i dont know what we will do then because we still have a new student so i dont know and i wish it was friday like so bad so thats all for now will post mire later
