update

this is just going to be a short update sorry i have been M I A for a month and it may be more i leave for the beach this saturday then leave again july second and the my instructor and one of my best friend are leaving for China so no riding for a while which is very sad the only ride i might get in is the sunday i get back after the first beach trip so thats whats up in my life sorry to keep everyone out there hanging love you guys i will post when i get back from the  beach with some pictures

a video that got me thinking

I just finished watching a video on YouTube that really made me think and i hope this is a long time from now but the quote used in the video only the good die young. i cant imagine losing a best friend that has been there with you from the begging weather its the first show, first time trailering, all the falls, trail rides, foxhunts,and more but no matter what age they leave they are always there in our hearts and will always be with us no matter what we move on to do. it just got me thinking on if i ever lost Gus even if he isn't mine it feels like he is and i know my heart would break into a billion pieces because of the lose of a good friend that never judged or got mad but was their for a shoulder to cry on and they are a rock when you need them Horses are different then people no matter what my happen to you they always are there to comfort you and it always helps to have someone there that will stand by you.

right now i still have my best friend but the day that changes i know it will be the worst day of my life

one thing that means spring to me

Okay as the title says there is one thing that means spring to me and that is the annual spring riding clinic. that is what i think of when i hear the word spring. the camp was enjoyable with helping and riding the first day we did cross country jumps in the top pasture and the second day we did a mock horse show and it was all a good way to get Gus's training further along. We have an upcoming show in may and Gus and i will hopefully place a little higher this year then last with his training being further along then last year.

last weeks lesson and upcoming clinic

Last weeks lesson went fabulous we worked on figure eights and we walked them and then moved up to a trot and canter and it went well for me gus only missed one lead and that is a miricle. This weekend i have a two day clinic can you say exstatic i am in a great mood i get to spend the whole day at my home a way from home. Sara i hope your hands are feeling better she and biggen didnt have such a great day just go and read her blog cant wait to see you at the clinic

Hey every one i am waiting to leave for the barn right now i dint ride last weekend i was at the Pulse dance event in Atlanta and omg it was amazing i meet some of the choreographers from so you think you can dance and we learned some amazing dances i will post about today's lesson later this evening

exciting news

so last weekend i did not get to ride but i gound out something very exciting on monday i am going to river glenn this weekend and am going to be in the green as grass schooling and its combined training so that dressage and stadium and i cant not wait

hopeful riding day

since it rained here today we did not have lessons i hope that it doesn't get rained out tomorrow either because other wise i will have to wait for next weekend and i hope that doesn't happen otherwise that is it for today until tomorrow that's it for me and if we have lessons i will update

Foxhunting

Today the barn went foxhunting at Mcords farm and it was fantastic i have to say i cant wait for the final hunt i hope i get to go is on march 19 so it has been a long day finding for four hours though was fantastic even if i cant move in the morning so just thought i would post an update about today Gus was a superstar and i cant wait for next weeks lessons until then i will keep you posted

todays lessons and some exciting news

so today we had lessons and we worked in the arena and learned some things about foxhunting and i also learned how to pull a horses mane and the exciting news is that i am going foxhunting tomorrow the only thing i am not looking forward to is getting up at the crack of dawn but thats what i am going to do so i cant wait for the hunt and sara of the eventingbelle and josie of the amazing indigo are also going but before we even can think about going we have to get everything ready which means i really need to go clean my boots

Saturday lessons

So yesterday we had our weekly lessons and we did cross country and it was so much fun even if Gus was refusing to do some things but we got him through it and he survived and next weekend we have lessons at normal time and i get to stay and help out with the afternoon lesson also and i hope that the amazing indigo hopefully will be able to come because we miss you a lot Josie

Ready for Warm Weather

I am so ready for some nice warm weather to head this way i am tired of this cold overcast days and ready for so really nice warm bright balmy days that way we can wear short sleeves and tank tops and shorts on day we don't ride i am just so ready for summer

a buck filled day

hey guys just got back from the barn like an hour ago and lets just say Gus was in a bucking mood today and was trying to get me off and that didn't happen so he just ended up wearing himself out more then he wore me out today we rode in the triangle and in the arena and worked on spirals and lots of sticking off to the canter and we also did some ground work. i hope that your ankle feels better Sara that's about it for today

okay i really need to get some better pictures of me because of the amount of weight i have lost the pics dont seem to do it justice because most are like from last summer before i lost like 48.5 lbs as yesterday

Hey everyone just wanted to update on well my life

This week i have 3 full body art drawing due, dance,class ring decisions, and not sure what else i have to do because its only Tuesday i am also trying to get driving time in too so much to do and so little time maybe this weekend i will drive to the barn hmmm just maybe. otherwise high-school is going great love most my classes except government and economic and my English teacher but other then that its pretty good cant wait for summer. i hope the cold doesn't last much longer because i might just scream if it does net Saturday will be amazing all day spent at the barn what could be better then spending time at the place you love 

todays lessons

Today i had my weekly lessons and we did thread the needle and worked on cantering lets just say this wasn't mine and Gus's day but that's okay we will have to work harder next week i had a lot of fun today and cant wait for next weeks lesson i hope we jump the next lesson and i want to know my followers opinion on this i am thinking about doing a big accomplishment of the week like each followers send in their accomplishment and i choose who i think has the best and i announce on that Friday who it is and the following Friday we have a new accomplishment so send me what you think by just adding comments and you can do the same with you accomplishments

friday lesson

okay everyone on friday we had a group lesson and we did a little vaulting and some flat work and i had to do half scissors with a jump vest on  so it was a lot of funn and am hopefully gunna ride on saturday before we go foxhunting

happy holidays everyone i hope to get back to riding in january but til then  i guess i wont have much to blog about and once i start riding again i will be so sore that tit will hurt to move but until the soreness wears off i will have to stay still if i can

saturday lessons

hello all its me again and today i had my weekly lesson and Gus did well  but was very lazy we worked on bending and weaving through cones and figure eights at the walk and trot just really too muddy to canter so that's about it and i then stayed to help in the second lesson and we did games in their lesson after a long cold muddy day at the barn i got home and helped my aunt roll out sugar cookies and then the  best friend/sister came over and we are planning on going to the community center tomorrow to swim and goof around and i cant believe that yesterday it was exactly one week till Christmas eve 


i hope everyone has a happy holiday season and enjoy time off from work and school hopefully will sleep in and just relax
